| Supplemental Application for Fall 2008 |
The College of Pharmacy accepts 80 to 85 students into the first year class beginning in the fall semester, on an annual basis. All applications for admission must be made through the PharmCAS system. In addition, a supplemental application submitted directly to the UNM College of Pharmacy is necessary to be considered for admission. Admission to the professional program is competitive and based upon academic performance, with an emphasis placed on courses that comprise the pre-pharmacy requirements, as well as communication (written and verbal) skills and expressed interest in the profession. A personal interview is required for admission. Invited interviews will be scheduled after all application materials (including supplemental) have been received and initially evaluated. A required writing exercise will be administered on the day of the interview. Completion of these requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the professional program. It is in your best interest to complete your application well before the February 1st deadline. Interviews will begin for selected applicants before the application deadline. Preference will be given to residents of the State of New Mexico.
Students must submit a supplemental application packet directly to the UNM College of Pharmacy consisting of the following: |
| 1 |
A UNM College of Pharmacy Supplemental Application submitted online. |
| 2 |
A recent (less than 30 days old) passport size photograph of yourself. |
| 3 |
A $40 non-refundable supplemental application fee (check or money order only) payable to the UNM College of Pharmacy. |
